Noel, noel…!

Today I started posting Christmas song lyrics on my Twitter account.
Why?

Because they are still just as true this season as they are during Christmas.
Christ came, and it was glorious!
Oh glorious day when Christ was born!!

“Joy to the WORLD, the LORD has come! Let EARTH receive her KING!!
Let every heart prepare Him room!”

I think for a worship song to be truthful, it must be timeless.
The lyrics in it must be able to be sung any time of the year.

Plus, Christmas songs just have something catchy about them.

    It’s a bit early to be setting up Christmas lawn decorations, but a Christmas carol here and there doesn’t bug me. My wife was listening to Christmas music in the kitchen yesterday.
